Keep a Comfort Level with Web Conferencing, Part I
It’s enough of a challenge to win a client; to do enough that they have enough faith in you to give you their business. The challenge continues, however, in actually keeping that client happy enough to stay with you. Vendors are called upon to continually prove themselves on a daily basis in order to keep harmony with their clients; to keep them comfortable so that they are willing and happy to continue to do business with them. This challenge intensifies when you’e doing business with clients that are not physically near you; it changes the dynamic when you can’t have face-to-face meetings. Companies have had to get creative in the face of global business. Is it possible to do business with clients a world away? Absolutely. The technology exists to make it not only possible but convenient to service clients no matter where they may be in the world; but that doesn’t mean that those clients will be comfortable with that distance. Web conferencing can help bridge the distance and increase comfort level all around.
Web conferencing is a part of the technology that is currently available to us; technology that is used on a daily basis in companies of all sizes and in countries around the world. Web conferencing helps companies cover the details of communicating with clients who are not in their physical proximity; but it does much more than that when used effectively. Web conferencing technology can increase the comfort level of clients who are being serviced by vendors that may even be states or countries away by:
Allowing clients to see their vendors. They may not be in the same room together having a meeting but web conferencing offers a personal experience nonetheless in that people are able to see each other’s facial expressions and engage in conversation that is at least the next best thing to being physically together. This is certainly helpful in instilling trust in clients you want to keep.
